SMSHE offers educational meetings and events throughout the year. Our educational meetings are designed to provide to our members and guests information regarding regulatory compliance and new technology designed for healthcare facilities. Lunch is provided at the meetings by SMSHE, or the presenter. Our meetings are typically held at the Engineering Society of Detroit in Southfield or at a local healthcare facility.
Other events provided by SMSHE are our holiday luncheon and annual business meeting, networking events, SMSHE Schmooze (in conjunction with the AIA Healthcare conference), and our annual golf outing.
When registering for a SMSHE event you recognize that your photo can be used on our website, social media posts, etc. for general marketing purposes.

All SMSHE members, non-members, and any conference attendee with a pulse & credit card are invited to join us! Respectfully register by midnight on March 23, 2026 so we know how many to expect. Sponsors, vendors, suppliers, and SMSHE will cover most of the alcohol expenses but nothing is official, so BYOCC!
